Built by people who got ignored

Maintaro started with a blocked drain, a letting agent who said "your message got lost", and a flat that smelled of damp for six weeks. We built the tool we wish the property manager had.

Why we built this

We came to this from the tenant side

A boiler packed up in October, we reported it the usual way, and then nothing for weeks. When we finally chased it, the letting agent said the message had got buried. By then it was a full emergency callout rather than the routine service it should have been.

The letting agent wasn't being difficult. They were just managing a lot of properties across WhatsApp, email, and phone calls with no real system. Something was always going to fall through. It just happened to be ours that time.
